The Deep Cavern
You make your way down to the deep cavern, and enter. It
is warm down here, and the cavern is large enough to house decent-sized clutches
from two mothers.
The current drak mother hisses softly as she sees you,
disgruntled, and moves her tail to circle her eggs, but she directs towards the
far wall, where the list of rules for aspirants are printed out. You begin to
read them over.
1. You must have a webpage, and an aspirant on that
webpage. No neopets, MSN, or anything else that requires you to sign up to view
it. Also, please keep pages to PG-13 at most, or e-mail me directly before
sending your candidate.
2. Aspirants can be from anywhere. However, they must
be human or near human, at least part of the time. Draks and dragons will also
be accepted to pair, but that's it.
3. A single aspirant may not have more
than three pets, and only two large ones. Once they have paired, they can have
more, if they think they can take care of all of them.
4. Do not alter the
images, or take them and adopt them out yourself. You may resize them, but do
not alter them in any other way.
5. Provide a link back to Drockh-Tallahn
Castle somewhere on the aspirant's page *which can be easily found*, so others
can find where they got their drak from.
6. There are two stages, draklings
and adults. Get your draks up on their pages as soon as possible, and if you
can't get them up within the time limit (usually about two weeks), send me an
e-mail to let me know why, before the time is up. If your drak is abandoned, it
will not bond again, but will stay around Drockh-Tallahn and I'll take it. If
for whatever reason there was a mistake and your drak was abandoned accidently,
talk to me about it and if you have a good reason, I'll give it back to you.
Those who abandon too many draks will be banned from adopting from later
clutches.
7. Make sure you join the yahoo group; that is where the hatchings and growths, etc. will be
announced. If you're not signed up, I will not hunt you down, and you may lose
your drak.
8. You may request names and colors, but be aware that it is not
certain you'll get exactly what you want. Draks pair based on personality alone,
so keep that in mind. Also, the name ending is already arranged for each clutch,
but you can suggest the first part of the name if you want to. Again, however,
there is no guaruntee that that is what you'll get.
9. Draks pair based on
personality, so I'm not looking at the quality of the story or webpage. You do
need to have an aspirant with a well-defined personality. Very good
stories may get a mutation, but these are extremely rare. For most aspirants, a
detailed stat sheet or short story will be fine.
10. Sponsorships will not be
accepted in advance. If a clutch is filling slowly, I may offer a chance to
sponsor a dragonet, announced at The
Nexus.
